Naidu enforced cashless transaction in AP..

He asked officials and traders to adopt the cashless transaction

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has enforced cashless transactions in all government departments. He has instructed the higher officials to stop releasing money from banks and instead adopt cashless transactions in the functioning of the government.

Mr. Naidu told the officials that cashless transaction is the only option before the government to address the issue of currency scarcity. The Chief Minister hold the review meeting with higher officials in the all the departments to address the ongoing issues of demonetization of high valued currency. He suggested all the departments’ payment of the bills and other financial activity will be done through only cashless transactions until sufficient money is deposited in the banks.

The Chief Minister expressed anger over the delay in finding solution to money scarcity even after two weeks. Naidu said the RBI sent Rs 2000 crore valued currency to meet the demand on Sunday which will be distributed to all banks and make available from Monday. He suggested private traders also encourage cashless transactions among the consumers to revive their business
