Nara Lokesh meets Obama

On Day-4 of his US visit on Friday, AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s son Nara Lokesh met US President Barack Obama.

Nara Lokesh met Obama as part of his efforts to invite industries to Andhra Pradesh.

“Pleasure meeting barackobama. Explained the smart city project and also AP being the investments destination. He conveyed his regards to our CM and mentioned the amazing work CM is doing,” Nara Lokesh said on Twitter. 

Lokesh and his team have been meeting with private company’s CEOs to pool in Rs. 15,000 crore investments to AP. 

Nara Lokesh took the opportunity to meet US President Barack Obama in Portland. 

“I explained the Smart City project, and our effort to reach out to American companies asking them to invest in ‪#‎AndhraPradesh‬. It felt great to know that the American President knew the kind of work ‪#‎APCM‬ was doing and was very appreciative of it. He even asked me to convey his regards to ‪#‎NCBN‬ which I will along with memories of having a good conversation with the President of United States,” Nara Lokesh shared on his Facebook.
