Telangana CM Using 1 lakh Cr for Hyderabad Development

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has apportioned Rs. 1 lakh crore for the development of Hyderabad the capital city of Telangana State under the Mission Hyderabad. With Mission Bhagiratha and Mission Kakatiya, as been started by Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao as of now being completed successfully, it is currently upto Mission Hyderabad.
The Mission incorporates giving tap connections with supply drinking water to each family unit and the Chief Minister has trained the MLAs to set up a roadmap in such manner. Likewise, the metro rail is preparing for dispatch in November this year and the arrangement to extend its second stage is prepared.
Aside from this, the development of flyovers, strategic road development, us bays parking, public toilets, skyways, roads to connect adjoing cities, and so forth are additionally in the pipeline.
Furthermore, the telangana government is endeavoring endeavors to promote tourism with the beautification of Husain Sagar, development of new buildings, protection of historical spots, development of amusement parks, cultural centers, small group community are a portion of the plans being empowered.
Before few days back the state government have sent a request letter to the centre to replace Hyderabad with Karimnagar in the list of smart cities, while introducing a ‘Smart Metro’ concept which includes cities like Hyderabad, New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata and Bangaluru.
KCR, as Rao is popularly known, said instead of selecting Hyderabad under Smart Cities project, it should be provided special funds keeping in view its requirements.  KCR said Karimnagar located in the heart of north Telangana has a population of about three lakh and is likely to soon become a tier II city, and if it is included in smart cities project, this will pave way for its planned development.
