BarahShahid Dargah at Swarnala Cheruvu in Nellore has been witnessed the relentless rush of devotees are coming to offered special prayers during this holy period. Here, the leader of opposition and YSRCP President YS Jagan took part in the traditional ritual, Rottela Panduga in Nellore. YS Jagan has offered special prayers at Bara Shahid Dargah.
YSRCP activists, large number of supporters and Muslim leaders welcomed YS Jagan. Later, he participated in Rottela festival and exchanged rottelu in Swarnala Lake here. People throng BarahShahid Dargah as part of annual Rottela festival. It’s estimated that over one lakh people celebrate Rottela festival by exchanging of bread (locally called Rottelu) made of wheat flour in a symbolic exchange of life’s pains and pleasures. The fete began on Wednesday and will continue till Sunday.
