Naidu hits back KCR once again

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has not been compromised with his counterpart of Telangana state K.Chandrasekhara Rao. Naidu would go aggressively in collecting the unresolved payments worth of Rs. 4000 crore from Several Telangana electricity companies. Earlier, Telangana’s Singareni Collieries stopped coal supply to Andhra Pradesh citing non-payment of dues without prior notice. Thus, Chandrababu government is all set to hit back the Telangana government in the similar fashion.

Andhra Pradesh is yet to clear Rs. 2,000 crore to the Singareni Collieries Ltd. On the other hand, AP is supposed to get more than Rs. 4,000 crores from several Telangana electricity companies. In view of the issue, Naidu has given a clear cut direction to hold the delegation with the Coal Indian to get the power supply to the state.

If the talks end with fruitful, the state would permanently bid goodbye to the Singareni Collieries Ltd and also issue ultimatum to Telangana for the reason of stopping the electricity supply without prior notices. If AP Genco’s efforts pay off after talks with Coal India, AP will put an end to taking the supply of coal from Singareni Collieries and would also rethink its game plan in supplying electricity to Telangana.
