After 24 hours of completion of Krishna Pushkaram-2016, the opposition YSRCP has accused the ruling TDP for widespread corruption during the Krishna Pushkaralu. YSR Congress Party said the fund misuse was of the order of Rs 1800 crore.
YSRCP spokesperson Ambati Rambabu said that the Pushkaram works were allocated to TDP activists on nomination basis. He also slammed the TDP for demolishing historic and ancient temples in the city “Ambati further criticized the way the government publicized the event and said Naidu gave an impression as if Pushkarams were happening only in Vijayawada and that they were happening only because of Chandrababu.
Ambati further criticized that Naidu is hand in glove with the sand mafia. He encouraged and supported illegal sand mining and transportation.
