In the government inspection of colleges, many lecturers are found involved in cheating the government. More than 900 teachers have been whipped by JNTU. In this context 40 pharma colleges have been served with notices. Criminal charges against the teachers are also contemplated by JNTU.
Basing on the recommendatios of standing comittee, inspection of affiliated colleges have been conducted by special teams and found that some of the lecturers working in many colleges in one academic year. There are 266 engineering and 145 pharma colleges in Telangana. Faculty duties have been performed by more than 10,000 teaching staff, some of these lecturers are fake.
