Telangana government made Memorandum of Understanding with American pharma giants Janson & Janson Company to eradicating the viral deceases from the state. Industries Minister K. T. Rama Rao has met Chairman of J&J Global Pharma, Dr Paul Stoffels and discussed on pharma manufacturing, innovation and J-Labs.

T-IT minister has also met Merck’s executive vice president and president of manufacturing, Sanat Chattopadhyay, and discussed setting up a centre of excellence in Telangana. Rama Rao also addressed leaders from PHRMA- Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America – a group of the US’ leading innovative biopharmaceutical research companies. The meeting was attended by representatives from major companies including Pfizer, Eli Lilly, Alexion, Merck and Amgen, among others.
