Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Amit Shah made strong criticism on TRS Chief, K.Chandrasekhara Rao led TRS government for not celebrating the Telangana Liberation Day for fear of the MIM president Asaduddin Owaisis. Amith sha further said that most of KCR policies are dependent on the likes and dis-likes of the Owaisi brothers.
Sha has strongly criticised the chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao that he failed to understand the sentiment of the people in celebrating the auspicious day of liberation from the tyranny of the Nizam rule. He reminded that gathering that Karnataka and Maharashtra states celebrate September 17 as Liberation Day as a mark of respect to those that fought the Razakars- the private army of the Nizam. Amit Shaw questioned KCR that what prevents him from celebrating the lives of those martyrs and saluting their heroic deeds in fighting the Razakars.
Recalling the role of former home minister late Sardar Vallabhai Patel in the liberation of Hyderabad and ensuring its joining the Indian Union, the BJP president said it is the bravado of Vallabhai Patel that convinced the Nizam that he has no option but to give up his tyrannical rule and join Indian Union.
