The Child Rights Protection Forum demanded enforcement of the private schools Fee Regulation Act and establishment of an autonomous commission to monitor private schools for checking indiscriminate fee hikes and commercialisation of education.
Massive demonstration on 11th June at Indhira park of parents, students and BC organisations planned by the Forum. The private schools are fleecing parents by collecting large amounts in the form of fees, donations etc for admission of the students before the new academic year starts.
